However, our services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. Clients with medical or mental health conditions should consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting therapy.

No guarantees are made regarding the effectiveness of therapy, as outcomes depend on the individual’s engagement and personal circumstances.

Hypnotherapy and psychotherapy should be seen as complementary to other medical or psychological treatments, not a replacement.

The Practitioner is not responsible for decisions or actions taken by the client as a result of therapy.

By booking a session, the client acknowledges and agrees that they are responsible for their own well-being during and after therapy.
Mindful Clinic – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mindful Clinic website and services, including solution-focused clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. By accessing our website and booking services, you confirm your agreement to these terms.
2. Services Provided
Mindful Clinic offers therapeutic services, including solution-focused clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, delivered via in-person sessions, telephone, and secure online platforms. Services are conducted in accordance with professional guidelines and ethical standards.
While the usual number of sessions required is between 8-12, this may vary depending on individual circumstances. Smoking cessation therapy is generally a 2-hour session and requires a non-refundable deposit (see section 6).
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All client information is stored securely and in compliance with GDPR regulations.

Exceptions to confidentiality apply if required by law or if there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

Sessions conducted online or via telephone use secure platforms, and reasonable steps are taken to protect confidentiality.

Clients may request access to their personal data, in line with GDPR, within 30 days.

Data is retained for 8 years for adult clients and, for minors, until the age of 25 or 26 if last seen at 17-18 years old.

4. Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment is required 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session.

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will be refunded.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the full session fee being charged.

If a deposit is taken (e.g., for smoking cessation therapy), this is non-refundable, even in the case of cancellation.
5. Remote and Online Sessions

Clients must ensure they are in a quiet, private, and safe environment for the duration of the session.

A backup contact method must be provided in case of connection issues.

In hypnosis sessions, the Practitioner will include the following script:
"If you do not hear my voice for two minutes, you will naturally and gently wake feeling refreshed." -
By proceeding with remote sessions, the client acknowledges their understanding of these requirements.
6. Liability Disclaimer

The Practitioner is not liable for any decisions or actions taken by the client as a result of therapy.

Therapeutic outcomes depend on the client’s engagement and commitment.

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. Clients with existing medical conditions should consult their healthcare provider before booking a session.
7. Professional Boundaries

The Practitioner operates within their professional and ethical training. If a client’s needs extend beyond these boundaries, a referral to an appropriate professional may be recommended.

If a client sees the Practitioner outside of sessions, they will not initiate contact to respect client privacy.
8. Website Use

The content on this website is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or psychological advice.

Unauthorised use of website materials, including copying or redistribution, is prohibited.
9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English and Welsh Law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the United Kingdom.
